Werkstatt Berlin
Manifestation poster
Berlin, Cultural Capital of Europe 1988

Werkstatt Berlin was an offshoot from Berlin Cultural Capital of Europe 1990. This festival was a hotbed for young talent in the theatrical arts including Hard Werken’s own Tom van den Haspel.
The main image of the publicity is based on a logo for a copper engraving company in Berlin in the 1930’s and transformed into the Berlin Bear, in this case one who maybe took a little pill.

It was ’painted’ with lead and copper.
The typography is hard-core ’stupid’ EmigrĂ© style created on ’My First Apple’.
