In the early 1980’s computer art was something for nerds, and it was mainly universities that gave attention to this phenomenon. Like in this case. Rob Peeters drew a great ’Luminaire’ on the theme, presupposing the imitative qualities the medium would appropriate and with instant ’antiquity’ laying just around the corner. The computer resembles an early Apple Macintosh but that is just bad drawing. The ’model’ was a Commodore.
