The PTT museum (Currently the Museum for Communication) in the Hague is a place dedicated to the history of postal services. Their collection ranges from postage stamps to a large array of physical objects that was used in performing mail services, including vintage mailtrucks and coaches. This exhibition told the story of the mailcoach system that was for centuries the fastest way to get mail around, apart from pigeons of course. In the exhibition space a coach shaped structure was placed in which the story was told chronologically, like travelling through time itself.

The Museum for Communication was created in 1929 as the company museum of the Staatsbedrijf der Posterijen, Telegrafie en Telefonie or PTT, the publicly owned fixed line operator of the Netherlands. Today the museum mainly looks at the way people communicate with each other. The museum has a modern look and is fun for kids.
There are exhibitions about the senses, communication in art and the human being.
